A chart is called Manglik when Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house. We check it from the lagna and the Moon and list the classical exceptions.

Why do some websites say Manglik and others not?
Traditions differ on the houses (some leave out the 2nd) and on whether to count from the Moon and Venus too. We show the house of Mars from each point so you can see why.
Is a Manglik match possible with a non-Manglik?
Yes. Matching looks at both full charts; exceptions and the overall match matter more than one placement.
